The Missionary Congregation of the Evangelizing Sisters of Mary believes in serving by holding onto Christ’s holistic ministry here on earth, thus redeeming the whole person. We have twenty-three (23) Novices. Thirty-seven (37) Sisters are of temporal vows at present. The finally professed Sisters are 275 in total.

Foundation:    The Congregation was founded in Moroto Diocese Uganda in 1975, by two Comboni Missionaries namely; Rt. Rev. Sisto Mazzoldi and Very Rev. Fr. John Marengoni. Currently, there are 312 professed Sisters coming from five countries in Africa; Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, and South-Sudan. So far, we are serving in ten (10) countries; South Africa, Tanzania including Zanzibar Islands, Kenya, Uganda, and South- Sudan, Italy, United Kingdom, Cuba, Germany and United States of America.

We have four (4) Formation Centres and 48 Apostolic Communities spread in thirty (30) different Arch/Diocese in different countries and three (3) continents.
